Walker
Inez Walker (1911 - 1990) began drawing while serving time in prison for killing a man who had most likely abused her. Upon her release, she continued drawing faces of people she knew and imagined.

Her work is widely collected and exhibited at such places as the Museum of American Folk Art, the Smithsonian, the Collection de l'Art Brut in Lausanne, Switzerland, and the L'Arcanie, Neuilly-sur-Marne, near Paris.
